Dr. Dhiren Patel, Director of VJTI, visited the USA in June 2019. During his trip to the SF Bay Area, he visited the Google headquarters in Mountain View with his younger daughter and later caught up for dinner with some VJTI alumni, Rajesh Parekh, Rajesh Singh, Niranjan Dhomse and Naresh Apte.

The alumni learnt about the enterprising efforts of VJTI faculty, the conference research publications authored by students, and the efforts under way to improve VJTI's ranking. Dr. Patel also urged the international alumni to give back to their alma mater either through financial contributions to support academic and infrastructure initiatives or through mentorship and guidance to VJTI students helping drive academic excellence.

It is a matter of pride for all VJTI-tes that VJTI was ranked 71st in the Government of India's NIRF ranking.
