Dr. Faruk Kazi shared his passion for research in this inspiring fireside conversation with Dr. Rajesh Parekh. He shared an interesting anecdote about how he came to join VJTI. What a fascinating story!

Dr. Kazi talked about various research initiatives in the areas of blockchain, AI, ML, deep learning, creating and detecting deep fakes, where under his leadership and guidance, VJTI students have successfully demonstrated meaningful outcomes, won prizes in competitions hosted by EY and Facebook. Alumni in the audience asked questions about how to contribute to research efforts at VJTI. Dr. Patel and Dr. Kazi talked about opportunities for alumni with subject matter expertise to engage with students in the capacity of advisors and mentors, and potentially sponsor corporate projects. They talked appreciatively about how alumni from TCS, Emerson and L&T Infotech have been very supportive to this cause.

If any alumni who are involved in research and have subject matter expertise in these areas of research, we welcome you to reach Dr. Kazi at fskazi@el.vjti.ac.in.
